Some of my RttToEE Minis
Well, I finally got some images of the minis I've painted so far. Let me know what you think. Some of them you know, some are ones that I found that worked for me. Let me know what you think!

Wow... So weird it's pretty artistic. :)

Nice work B! Thanks for posting them.

It's good to see some of these infamous characters 'in the flesh' - it's an inspiration to all us mini-users to get painting.
Keep them coming!

Any chance you could add a line to your pics pages saying which miniature you used (you know, just so we can copy your choices :)

Your choice of Thrommel mini is grrrreat (Reaper Miniatures RR2569 - Vlad the Deceiver, Elvin Cleric) - he has a really evil expression. I thought of using the same fig but, slacker that am, never got it painted in time.

...and whatever happened to Andorax, Chartram et. al's extensive suggested-minis-list?
ooh, ooh, found it!

Anyone else want to volunteer some finished-model inspiration? (I would...no really... but my scanner's busted and I don't have a digi camera).
Go on, go on, go on...you will.

Yeah, I'll toss in the names. Most of them are, unfortunately, Chainmail minis. I got them 50% off from my local game store, since apparently nobody plays chainmail. If you've never dealth with Chainmail before, they usually involve glue the mini together from about 300 discreet pieces.

Some nice work there.

None of it's for RttToEE, but if you'd like a look at some of my painting projects, they're here:

I'm hoping to slap my D'Gran on a scanner sometime soon...I'm very happy with how he turned out.

Cool. Did you glue flock to the treeman and dryads to get that mossy look?

Re: Niiiiiice
Yup. Actually, that flocking was kidnapped from one of the model trees I was using for terrain, which in turn came from model train scenery.

I wanted a unique look to them...there's an awful lot of various shades of brown Dryads and Treemen out there...I thought the white would stand out.

I might mention
That the Chainmail mini parts that are supposed to fit together, never do. Also, the minis are designed to have legs, arms, and weapons sticking out at strange angles to guarantee they break off. Other than that, some of them are pretty nice. The Ettin is an imposing fig, even if it's a little plain looking.

Re: I might mention
The Ogre Trooper I painted is pretty cool, although I'm worried about the arm with the branch in it. It does attach in a kind of wrap-around fashion, which should make it more stable. It's the hobgobling whose arm attaches with two completely flat areas. I expect to re-glue him every time I use him . . .
