LOL! I didn't even remember that. The guys who set up our site are web hosters by day and they get creamed with spam, as you might expect. They get a little creative sometimes :)

Minor edits & Map D
Great job, Siobharek! I have reviewed Maps A-C and I have the following minor edits on the errata posts themselves, and then an additional suggestion on Map D. Like we discussed before, I'm not sure if anyone else uses the hp as is, but I like to point out discrepancies. If you agree with the suggestion, then you can just copy the whole paragraph over.

Map A
Edit: C5 starts on page 44, not page 45.
Edit: You missed a bracket in bolding "pg 47...".

Map D
pg. 61 (C72) - As a Bbn4, Graud can rage twice. He has about 51 pounds of equipment, so his swim check has a -10 penalty (total -4 normally or -2 while raging). The average hp for Graud is 30, not 42 (as if he had an 18 Con). With this new hp, while raging he has only 38 hp.

Thanks - for the kind words as well as the errata (^2).

With regards to hit points, I think I'm in favour of including any and all hit point errata, simply because... well, it's right. In 3e, we are encouraged to go by the average numbers (if nothing more then because average hit points are printed next to Hit Dice) - which also means no more Book of Lies (sorry, Lairs) apes with max hit points.

And for those of us who think that poor Graud deserves a break, he can always get more hp than average. ;)

p. 122 (OF32) -- Daagra should be CR11, not CR9 as in her stat block. Annis Hag is CR6, plus 5 levels of ranger.

Re: Errata/Questions
By the way, I hope everyone's getting prepped for this...but come July, we'll have another huge Errata thread to start compiling.

Then again, RttToEE will probably be the first module that's "updated for 3.5E" out there, due to the tireless efforts of the various posters here.

"Whadda ya mean, Orcs get levels too?!?"

Gah, Andorax.... You're right. Well, the format's gonna make it so much more easy to edit once the changes start coming in.

Re: Errata/Questions
The errata says that Burne is missing 20 skill points. However, his INT is 21 only due to the headband of intellect. He will lose 13 skill points if the headband comes off. I don't know if this is important, but I was fiddling around with NPC stats and noticed this.

Re: Errata/Questions
I'd say that it would depend on when he got the headband. There's been quite a bit of debate about how many skill points should be given as a result of magically heightened intelligence. Personally, I think I'd rig it so that the headband was given somewhere mid-level, and then I'd give the extra skill points from the next level up.

Or should skill points be applied retroactively?

Map E
pg. 61 (C73) - The ceiling needs to be at least 25ft high (instead of the implied 20ft) in order to allow the air elemental (if summoned) on top of the 15ft dais.

pg. 61 (C73) - Fachish has an extra 2nd-level spell prepared; suggestion: remove darkness.

pg. 63 (C74) - The skeletons are not identified in a stat line after Choranth in the text. Either use the BoB suggestion or "Huge Skeletons (4): hp 26, 23, 27, 33; see Monster Manual page 165." The limit of the spirit sphere covers areas 71-81.

pg. 64 (C76) - "...the volcanic island in the center, and two bridges that cross the lake to the island." You cannot see the third bridge (Air) from this vantage point.

pg. 64 (C78 ) - The spiral stairs to the east ascend 15ft to the East-West corridor. No EL listed. I'd say EL 9 due to the defensible position, which means you might consider adding +10% XP bonus.

pg. 65 (C82c) - EL 3 (not ready) or EL 6 (ready).

pg. 65 (C83) - EL 7

pg. 65 (C85) - Claaginred not properly advanced due to size increase (per MM pg. 12). Please double check:
Claaginred, Large Gargoyle (8HD): Large Magical Beast (Earth); CR 6; HD 8d10+48 (92hp); Init +1; Spd 45ft, fly 75ft (average); AC 16 (size -1, dex +1, natural +6); Atk 2 claws +11 (BAB +8, Str +4, size -1) 1d6+4, bite +9 1d8+2, gore +9 1d8+2; Face/Reach 5x5/10; SQ DR 15/+1, freeze; Save Fort +12, Ref +7, Will +2; S 19, D 12, C 22, I 6, W 11, Ch 7.
Skills: Hide +6*, Listen +5, Spot +5
Feats: Multiattack, Weapon finess (claw, bite, gore), cannot use Dodge (new Dex), so suggestion: flyby attack.
* +8 racial bonus near worked stone

pg. 67 (C90) - "...and shown a greater key of water or told the pass phrase signifying they are blessed..." Having a greater key is not the only way through the water door.

pg. 67 (C90) - Poolidib, Will save is +8 (must have forgot insanity adjustment), AC 20 (touch 12, flat-footed 18) computed as natural +6, shield +2, ring of protection +2 (must have forgot ring), cannot have Dodge (requires Dex 13) suggestion: Blind-Fight. Stats are base stats for a kuo-toa, but Poolidib should get 1 stat increase for his advancement in classes. Suggestion: Con 14: +7 hp, Fort +8, Concentration +7.

pg. 67 (C92) - EL 7.

pg. 68 (C93) - No search DC provided, suggest DC 22.

Map A Howler
I think the CR on the errata howler is wrong. Technically, the CR doesn't change, but with double the HD, you should add 100% to the XP for the creature defeated. In CR terms, this should be CR 5 (CR 3 + CR 3 = CR 5), so what Monte had in the book is more correct.

No, the CR does change. That's MM errata.

Ah, so it does! Thanks! One of these days I need to update my books in pen with the errata...but 3.5 will probably be out before then. :)

Claagingred...
A few minor things:

* typo "calws" -> "claws".

* Fort save should be +14 (HD +8, Con +6).

* Hide bonus should be +5 (+7 [4 HD base less Dex mod], +1 Dex, -4 size, +1 skill point).

* All skills but those listed in the monster's stat block are cross-class for them, so a rank of Tumble would cost 2 skill points. I'd suggest putting it back into Hide (back to your +6) to offset the big size penalty. The max skill rank is now 11 so there's room for it.

* I concur about adding Fly-by instead (good choice!).

* I'd add the CR 6 to the stat block for completeness.

Thanks for your thoroughness!!!

Thanks, Zans!
"typo 'calws' -> 'claws'." Fixed.

"Fort save should be +14 (HD +8, Con +6)" No, a good Fort save for an 8HD creature is +6.

"Hide bonus ... skills ... I'd suggest putting it back into Hide (back to your +6)..." Agreed, and fixed!

"I'd add the CR 6 to the stat block for completeness." Fixed!

"Thanks for your thoroughness!!!"
Like Siobharek is a maniac with the upping like the levels in the adventure, I just figured I'd go over the details myself. Quite honestly, I have fun doing it and it helps me remember stuff better.

Average Hit Points
After going through a number of map sections in great detail, I've come around to agreeing with SIERK:

"I don't think we should get hung up on 'average' hitpoints or NPC wealth."

In that vein, I will not suggest changes to average hit points and in fact second SIERK's recommendation:

"As long as it isn't at either extreme edge of hitpoints, I don't even think it should be included as errata."

Errata to the errata:

The half-dragon Tyrannosaureses cannot fly.

"Each has scaly flesh the color of its dragon sire, large muscular forearms with draconic claws, and bat-like wings that have been surgically covered in iron plates. These altered wings no longer allow these creatures to fly, but can be used defensively, adding +4 to their AC."

Right now I'm too lazy to double check that the listed AC of 22 is correct.

Map F (Quick One, phew!)
pg. 70 (C102) - Tarren has leather armor per the stat block, but the text says hide. I think the description is more interesting, so I suggest replacing the +2 leather with +2 hide, and making the following additional changes: AC 17 (touch 12, flat-footed 15); Spd 20ft.

pg. 70 (C102) - Tarren's Handle Animal skill should be +16 (ranks +11, Cha +3, synergy bonus from animal empathy +2).

The half-dragons' AC is correct. And I've errata'd ^2 as well as fixed Tarren as per Infiniti2K's findings.
