Important Anniversary
First off, I would like to say that this particular forum is the main reason I've stayed involved with Monte's boards, even though I finished RttToEE months ago. There are an incredible number of talented and imaginative DM's here who have generously given out tons of invaluable advice.
I would just like to take a moment to recognize one member of our community who's got an important anniversary here.
Today marks the one year anniversary of Andorax's Sunday Night PC's
Through all the trials, tribulations, and cancelled sessions, Andorax's log isn't just a record of the campaign, it's a fine example of the interplay between players, module, and DM.
I hope I don't embarrass the guy with this post, but it seemed like a good opportunity to pause and say thanks for all the hard work, good advice, and selfless sharing.

Well, the thread anyway. As you'll read in the very first post, we'd "been at it" for about 3 months before I started the thread itself up. But it's been quite the wild ride, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
And Infiniti2000, I'd have been kinder to Pete if the player were still around, but running an NPC and his very active NPC Familiar was getting to be a serious drag.
I hate NPCing party members. Luckily, I have a ready and extensive supply of willing vict...players to fill all the roles I need.

Important Anniversary
I'd also like to chime in
Andorax has not only provided the community here with an invaluable resource by posting his ongoing adventure but also takes the time to post answers to specific questions that everyone has. I think it is fair to say that I speak for us all when I say "Thanks a bunch man!"

well, these boards just rock
every log on these boards is a well of inspiration waiting to be tapped by other dm's in their eternal struggles to make their pc's lives a living hell... i mean a worthwile adventure

Well, Zarrock, it's slow going, but you can catch up on an entire year's worth of gaming in my thread.
Thanks guys! I appreciate the comments, and will definately be letting the "troops" know about this. I really do look forward to giving them the go-ahead to log in here and see what this has all been about (after they complete, of course).

Incredible tale
Hear, hear! Your's is one of (or maybe 'the') best campaign logs on the whole board. It is what inspired me to record my own and I only hope my game reaches the same heights and depths that your's has so far!

Congratulations!
Andorax's Campaign Log is one of the best all-round sources of inspiration for my own campaign. It is also a lot of fun to read. Kudos to Andorax for his excellent writing and unwaivering dedication to keeping us all up-to-date.

Damn - you guys are good!
I don't usually pitch in with the 'me toos' but I'd just like to say that the many DMs who contribute to this board, giving of their time and the Dark Fruits of their fertile imaginations (bwa-ha) have turned running this epic adventure from a potential lonely, logistical nightmare to a true joy - there's a real sense of community here, and hey, where else would we all go to talk about all this stuff???
A Big Thanks to Monte for giving us the forum.
An astonishing amount of collective effort has gone into these boards - I think we should form a big circle, turn right and give ourselves a real big pat on the back...yep, you lurkers too - sign up, start posting, get it out there...it's cathartic.
To Andorax, who like the Oracle, has been with us since the beginning, thanks for your many, many contributions...and your now epic-length campaign log - I can't wait for the day I hand the URL to my players and say 'enjoy'.
Special personal thanks to the moderators, who've kept the board 'alive' - Siobharek and Thrommel in particular. Thanks guys.

As one of the many lurkers (long-time reader, first time poster here), I love his campaign log. When I get around to running RttToEE, his thread will be the first one I copy out and paste into a file. It's an excellent source of ideas and resources.
