Using Dragon RttToEE material
I'm very fond of the articles on Elemental Evil in the Dragon Annual 5 (Children of Tharizdun) and Dragon 285 (Four in Darkness and Spawn of Elemental Evil) and was wondering what use people have made of them in their RttToEE campaigns?
I'ved used the Breathdrinker a few times already and consider dropping in a Kurge in the Moathouse - just for the fun of it

I've used the Demonically Fused Elemental template, but beware, it can be a killer! I took out 3 PCs with the Demonically Fused Earth Elemental guarding the entrance from the Earth Bridge.

Hehehe...
Sounds like I'll be using that a lot then  . I also had plans for having the Doomdreamers releasing a Julajimus (from Annual 5) or two to keep the local populations busy....

Dragon Annual 5
It might be hard to come by at the present times. It's a great issue, but the only RttToEE related article is The Bestiary: Children of Tharizdun written by James Jacobs. It includes:
Julajimus (Huge Aberration, CR 12)
Kurge (Medium Undead, CR 6)
Rogue Eidolon (Large Construct, CR 9 - in MM2)
Rotripper (Large Undead, CR 7)
It does provide a bit of extra info on the Church of Tharizdun as well...

Some of those have appeared elsewhere, I think; the kurge at least has been in Dungeon fairly recently.

The Kurge are really cool. I'm gonna replace one of the ghasts with a Kurge since my party waltzed through the encounter with 2 ghouls, 2 gnolls and a ghast AFTER taking on Utreshimon AFTER taking on all the cultists except Chat, Maridosen and Jaroo. Not that it will make it much more difficult.
On the other hand, they deserve a bit of success before they get massacred in the CRM  - bwahahaha...

Julajimus and Rogue Eidolon can be found on Monster Manual II as well if you can't find that dragon magazine.
