Lightning Towers and the bridges
I don't know if this has been asked before, but do the lightning towers attack people on the bridge, or JUST flying creatures? I looked it over pretty thorougly, but couldn't find anything specific.

Re: Lightning Towers and the bridges
This question has come up before. The thread may well have vanished into the Dread Page 21, however.

IIRC the concensus (and Monte's response) was that the intent of the bridges is that they only target flying creatures - anyone crossing the bridges has come through the CRM and is probably a 'legitimate' visitor. Plus, getting in the Door at the end of the bridge also requires an appropriate key or blessing.
The lightning towers are primarily a defense against cheeky adventurers or goody-two-shoes metallic dragons flying in and harassing the Fanes...

...remember that any creature 'Blessed' by a Greater Key is not targeted by the Lightning Towers, and that all the Spider-Eaters and their riders (and I guess many, if not all, of the Fanes' inhabitants) are considered 'Blessed'.

The 'flying creatures' limitation can still be nasty - e.g. if someone thinks to send their familiar or flying animal companion on a scouting mission.

Grumgarr - who fires up the towers for roast-eagle-on-toast, too.

Hee Hee, I have been waiting so patiently for my wizard PC to do this! :)

I have also tried to be fair in so far as that every time they have gazed out across the Stalagos (the ledge near the Air Temple, across the Air Bridge, etc...) I have rolled a random chance that some poor wayward bird got fried by the towers.

Or, when approaching Mt. Stalagos from Rastor that they heard a crack of thunder. I figure its a pretty low percentage chance, as most species of birds avoid the area - still every year a good number of young birds learn the hard way that Mt. Stalagos is bad for nesting and hunting.

My PCs have heard the thunder of Mt. Stalagos, but they have made little note of it.

My PCs immidiately spoke with Tymorian and she is obviously aware of what the towers do.
