Inner Fane (Black Spire)
I have been reading through the adventure and had a question about the Black Spire. Once the party reaches the 3rd level does the staircase continue up, or must the party travel through the Dreaming Stone to make it up to the other levels. Thanks in advance. This was confusing to me.

Re: Inner Fane (Black Spire)
I had assumed that the wrought-iron staircase that starts on Level 1 wound its way all the way up to Level 9.
The stairs are in the boxed text for Level 1 and Level 2 then again at Level 6. The Level 6 boxed text implies that the stairway rises up from Level 5 and continues to Level 7. However, there is no mention of stairs in Level 7, 8, or 9.
The descriptive text of Levels 4 and 5 say: "While it (the Dreaming Stone) can be entered anywhere using dreamstep, it is most often accessed on one of these levels". This implies that you can reach these levels by some other means than using dreamstep.
All in all, it seems to make most sense that the wrought-iron staircase connects all the upper levels of the Inner Fane.

Re: Inner Fane (Black Spire)
The stairs are visible on the maps of all above-ground levels. The lower levels can only be accessed using the studs.

I missed those small maps
You're right. I totally missed the small maps to the side of the inner/outer fane maps. I was just looking at the side view of the dreaming stone. Thanks for all you're help.
