Updated stat blocks for 3.5e?
I've been following the errata threads, but I have a question about the approach -- is the existing errata just going to be updated piecemeal, or will there be a concerted effort to collect revised statblocks for every npc/monster in the module into a single doc?
If the decision hasn't been made yet, please consider this both a vote for the latter, and volunteer to help with the conversion. Some sort of organization (ie: assigning blocks of areas to volunteers so that everyone doesn't waste effort updating the same monsters) is probably a good idea.

Re: Updated stat blocks for 3.5e?
We haven't really "gotten organized" about this as of yet, and you do bring up a good point. I suppose this is as good of a thread as any to start a discussion on how we're going to go about this.
My personal recommendation would be that we should produce Errata for 3.5E Revisions, chapter by chapter. Each chapter of the revisions constitutes a separate post in the Errata thread, and the net end result, hopefully, also gets collected into a single word or pdf document ('twould be great to include all of the to-date Errata, FAQ and BoB materials as well).
As for who does what parts, I'm wide open in that regard. I wouldn't mind holding off and seeing what other people don't want to undertake, then volunteering for less-popular portions of the work...but if there's no preferences stated, I'd be happy to start at the back (Fire Node, Recovered Temple) and work forward.

I'll help
I'd be willing to help. Plus, I can create PDF's and have the Adventure Font too, so I can add the neat little NPC symbols before everyone's name.

Re: wow!
I'm game, too, naturally (sorry for being late with this reply - I've got pneumonia, which sucks).
The pdf idea is solid, but I still think the material should be accessible here on the boards. Another sticky thread is too much, I think. So I suggest a second set of posts, dedicated to 3.5 updates, under the existing errata. Note that while I wouldn't mind doing this, it doesn't have to be me.
Under all circumstances should the errata file be kept as slim as possible. Therefore all discussions about the updates (and who are we kidding, we will discuss concrete updates ) should be kept in a "workshop thread" where we can reach a consensus about the knottier aspects of the updates.
As to where the pdf should be placed, I'd suggest Andorax' site, provided it won't cost you anything, man. I suggest this because AFAIK it isn't an .edu site, so it won't go away upon graduation, and I believe that Andorax has proven his dedication to this community many (many!) times over.
BTW, the adventure font can be found here.

Re: wow!
As far as the pdf thing goes, it all depends on how far you are going to go.
I think the errata thread should just just contain _changes_. If someone wants to create statblocks whole cloth (that are 3.5e compliant) they should be in a separate downloadable file. Andorax's site and or the Yahoo group would be good places to post such a file.

Re: wow!
I genuinely appreciate the vote of confidence there, and would be happy to volunteer to host it. In fact, if anyone wants to compile the existing FAQ, Errata, and/or BoB into a .PDF format, let me know...I'll be happy to host it as soon as it's assembled.
I just wish there was a better way to reach all those people who are out there buying RttToEE, or own it and have it at home, perhaps are even running it now. We've such a HUGE resource here, it seems a shame not to make it available to more people.
As far as posting the errata, my thoughts (as mentioned before) was to have one Errata thread post per chapter of 3.5 updates, and quite honestly, I'd rather Siobharek or Thrommel did be the one to post them when the workshop threads have run thier course. Better consistancy and control that way.

Totally agree. I plan to do a review when I get done or mostly done partly with the intention of mentioning this (again--I think you did already in a d20review, if I remember rightly).
Frankly, the number of errors is really so large that WoTC should reprint the thing, but I bet we won't see that happen. In theory if stanguay's edits really made it into the French (? can't remember for sure) translation, that version is in better shape than what you can buy over here.
At the very least, what we have here is a much beter Web Enhancement than WoTC's offering Maybe someone can tweak them to post a link somewhere useful...

I would be more than happy to do this and have some time this weekend, in fact. I just noticed that Safari (Apple's new browser) retains all the formatting when c&p from it, so this will literally take me minutes to pull off.

I agree 100% here as well. From what I've read about 3.5e so far, I have a feeling that there will actually be few real text changes, even to stat blocks. It looks like some skills, spells, and feats may change names a bit and how they work might change a bit, but I haven't seen much that will change the nitty gritty calculation bits. I guess it depends on how hard we want to work if we want to highlight that something works differently.

Well, as I said, I'll be happy to carry on. And Thrommel has the ability to go gaseous and enter any thread at will, so we should be able to count on him as well.

PDF Errata and FAQ
OK, here's my first cut. This is mostly c&p with a little style added and a revised intro to go better with a file that might float out on the web outside of this board. The FAQ will take a bit more work since there are a lot of links to paste in properly, but I hope to have it done by this weekend. I think the errata and FAQ belong in the same file. I'm not sure I'll be undertaking the BoB, but maybe I'll be inspired
Please let me know what you think of the style and I welcome any suggestions on how to make it better or make it look better--even stupid stuff like: the font is too large (which it might be... I haven't tried printing this yet )
The anal part of me wants to tweak the paragraph formatting of individual entries, but the more I do of this, the more that is lost (and to be redone) when I sync with a change on the board. Thoughts?

hmmmm...
...looks ok but;
The font is quite large, I'd shrink the font down a bit and use a serif-type font, like in the books
Also, try to do a page-break when starting a new section eg; "The Fire Node" starts at the top of a fresh page, and not halfway down a page see what I mean?

Zans, this is excellent. Good work, man.
I doubt that there'll be a reprint of the module - I mean, how often does WotC do that? - but a link to this pdf - wherever it may be placed, should be posted at ENWorld and at any other review site. Hopefully someone wil find it there.

Font
Looks great, but I agree with ShadowmageIX that the font is too large. Personally, I prefer a 10-pt font because I like to waste as little paper as possible if I decide to print it out.

Re: Font
I don't know if you left it in on purpose or not, but one of Thrommel's taglines is on page 13, right after the Naga's stat block.
The last line of the Troglodyte stench errata block has a missing word:
"...character cannot be affected by the same..."
Other than that, GREAT work! Keep it coming! Do you still want me to host this on my site?

looks good
The pdf looks good, I like the larger font, makes it easier to use at the table instead of penciling things out in the module.
I think it would be helpful to include links to this board and the Yahoo group. This is especially important if the pdf gets wider distribution through WOTC and or ENWorld.

Re: looks good
I agree, though the Yahoo Group is practically useless - as is the help I've been getting from them so far.
One thing that struck me now I've looked over the pdf. Would it be an idea to make page breaks that corresponded to the errata'd sections of the module? That would help me a lot, at least, as I have prepared notes for each map section.
Other than that it looks great, and I might take a stab at the FAQ tomorrow, if I'm up to it (still fighting pneumonia )

Well, I've reordered the FAQ, but my geocities site won't let me post it. If someone would like a look at it, e-mail me. s.thustrup(at)tiscali.dk.
