So long and Thaks for all the Sea Hags!
Well it's over. Universe saved, characters decided to go back to their normal lives, group making new characters for a new campaign.

All in all I must say this is the best 30 bucks I ever spent. Two years of gaming in a book. Everyone had fun.

I REALLY enjoyed this board, and kudos to you folks, you @#%$ rock, excuse my french. ;)

I lurked more than posted, but I was here and still come here from time to time. We "officially" ended the RtToEE campaign 2 days ago, with many fond memories talked about and much laughing over the adventures, or should I say mis-adventures of the party. Going straight back to ole Del. "There's a dragon up der!" Cue rolling of the eyes of the party. Heh. We still cannot believe it's over, and we plan on playing the character now and then, if possible.

There are TOO MANY names to thank on this board, so I will thank Monte (Thank you sir. Great times.) and all of you, old and new. This module is a GOOD as you make it. Put in the time and effort DM's, your party will thank you.

I feel a little bit of fond regret that it is over.. so much invested timewise. Being a DM can be so rewarding, and this module helped me really dig back to my roots (even if they are a bit hack-n-slash heh!!). I will probably visit these boards now and then for years.

Once again a Final Thanks. It was nice to have some happiness in this dark and cruel world.

May Tharizdun remain trapped Forever!

Congrats JLXC and thanks for your contributions! Can we convince you to do a campaign post-mortem ala Thrommel? :) I'm most interested in what you would do differently if you were going to do it all over again.

"They were immediately and absolutely recognizable as adventurers. They were hardy and dangerous, lawless, stripped of allegiance or morality, living off their wits, stealing and killing, hiring themselves out to whoever and whatever came... They were scum who died violent deaths, hanging on to a certain cachet among the impressionable through their undeniable bravery and their occasionally impressive exploits" China Mieville, Perdido Street Station

Kudos for a well-run campaign, JLXC. If I'm not too mistaken there are a couple of entries in the stickies that'll ensure that your name will live here till the end of the board.

:)

Signifying nothing.

Re: So long and Thaks for all the Sea Hags!
What would I do differently?

1. No DM run NPC/PC in the party. With 5 full characters it was a lot easier than it may have been, plus I pulled their fat out of the fire TOO many times with my psion.

2. I would like to have made more attempts to get into deeper roleplaying in the module, but with my party who am I kidding. "So you have made it to my doorstep, let me...." "SHUT UP and Roll Initiative!" Sigh.

3. I would have rolled on the right random encounter table from Homlett to Rastor, and the party would not have gained a level from that little trip.

4. I would have hand-picked more spells for the baddies instead of going "as is" for several battles.

That's pretty much it. We had a blast though... so I'm not complaining. :)

Siobharek yep I'm in there.

JLXC, if you have not seen The Gamers, I strongly recommend it, even if only from this one comment. Absolutely hilarious. :D

Anyway, good luck in your next adventure!
