I'm going to tile the whole thing. :) I'll make everything I finish available to public though.

Wow. :eek

I think my eyes have just been opened to the fantastic world of models and mapping. I had never really thought much about it until I saw those tile pictures and checked out WorldWorks. This could make describing all those long dungeon corridors much easier.

Thanks for the info! I have a feeling that pretty soon I'm going to be using a lot more color ink than I ever have in my life. :D

Just a quick note to say that the Yahoo files are back in business. Access them here.

LOL! Figures... I guess we just had to threaten them, eh? :) Is there any reason for me to do mine now?

Yes! Because I uploaded a lot of files to your site! I don't want to do that at the Yahoo! site. Who knows when it will be down again? :|

Yes! God, yes!! The Yahoos! put all the files in the clipboard. If it hadn't been for one sharp-eyed member of the group they would have stayed there.

I certainly vote for your area. I think it would be much neater.

Re: File drop open now
I second Siobharek. It would be so much better than Yahoo. I hate their interface, so I think just having a quick FTP site would be so much cooler.

Plus it's a bit more focused toward this group here, which I feel is the "official" RttToEE group. There's already stuff on your site that wasn't on the Yahoo site.

OK, I see a few of you chomping at the bit :) I'll just dump what I've gotten into the site for now with no organization since there's talk on other threads about stuff that's been uploaded. Here's the link for now:

zans.clanplaid.net/rtee_files/

There is nearly no interface yet (this is just default Apache directory indexing right now), but you should be able to retrieve everything. I have a session tonight and then I'll be off for the next week or two, so should have some time to organize this a little better.

Hi Zans,
First off - thanks for doig this - it's great to see such fantastic work be gathered in one place.
And a thanks to all of you who've uploaded stuff. (Oh -and Chartam - small world eh? I'll try to be childlike & drop by on the 3rd for the Origami demo!)

Now - to my problem..
I can't get to your new download site at all - can't ping it, can't open the web page & ftp don't work either.
is this link correct?
zans.clanplaid.net/rtee_files

Looking forward to checking out everyone's work!
:)

Re: Some up now...
There appears to be a problem with the nameserver that hosts the 'clanplaid.net' domain. I think it's just a network not machine issue, but it's remote and I have no control over it. I'll try to find out a bit later today or tomorrow, if it's still a problem. I DM tonight, so will be busy for a while :)

Thanks!
I wondered if it was a DNS issue or a typo issue.
I'll be patient - after all DMing comes first. Of course that's mainly because your players know where you live & we don't!
:)

Have a good session!

It is, indeed, and it looks sweet. Chartam, you've even got sound files! That's friggin' amazing.

One more benefit as opposed to the Yahoo! Group: Unless I'm misinformed we don't suffer the same strict space restrictions.

Zans, how much space you got, buddy?

ZansForCans, there seems to be some files missing on that web site. I uploaded the Tainted Deck stuff, too.

Can't take credit for the sound files...I found them on someone's RttToEE campaign site...too bad I can't remember which one to give proper credit. :|

Re: Some up now...
Yeah, it's not a direct sync, partly for security (so we're not accidentally serving pr0n or w4r3z) and partly because I'll be re-organizing things as they come in. I think the deck came in later than I did the last sync. Also, there's a file on the incoming site named CRM.zip that wasn't complete, so that's not there either.

Unfortunately, my home connection is down again (grumble, grumble), so the uploads will be unavailable until tonight. Sorry!!! I hope to add an web upload feature to the file site so we can get rid of relying on two different machines... weee!!!

Re: space... I'm not sure how much I can use. I don't have a quota and haven't really asked, so let's just play it by ear (the disk where the files are served from has ~30GB free right now). Looks like we already have 255MB there already! Smokes! :)

Re: Some up now...
Infiniti2000 asked this already, but I'll pose it again:

Do most people have access to MS Word? I'm cranking out my monster list using tables in Word, and I'd like to share it. I'm not sure how the tables would survive conversion to RTF, so I'd like to keep them in Word format.

On a related note: I'm planning on breaking my moster list down into encounter blocks, with stats, HP tick boxes, etc. Right now I'm just compiling a list of critters and encounters (page 47 and counting! Damn, the CRM is big . . .), but I'm not sure if people would be interested in ANOTHER list of creatures. Keep in mind, they are all in table format now, which means you can easily copy and paste the whole block, or pieces of it, and it makes it a whole lot easier to read when in the heat of battle you need to quickly determing what Eeridik's Fort save is, or the DC for one of Tessimon's spells. Anyway, should I upload the raw list, or just the finished encounter charts?

Re: Some up now...
I can do the PDF thing too. I was avoiding it, because the tables would not really be copy/pasteable. The text, yes, but the tables would come out funny. If people would rather have that format, I can do it. For the final version, I think it would be fine.

Suggestion
Once this gets organized a little better there should be a post to the FAQ sticky explaining:
Where/How to FTP new files
Where/How to download the files
Who is in charge and how to contact them.
