The books on magic in Nilbool' shelf.
The sorceror and wizard of my group is insistant in gathering all of these books up and taking them back to the city. They want to know what the books are on and how much they might be able to sell them for. Could y'all help me out here, because I have no idea. I told them there were about 45 books on the shelf, because the description said the bookshelf was filled.

Treatise on the curative properties of gnome eyes
Treatise on the correct way to gather mephit spleens
Pamphlet on arcane guild fees in Verbobonc
Etc, etc. This could be really pretty amusing...but the value is probably limited at best. Especially if we get one like:
Comparative Anatomical Study: Human and Elven Vivisection
Not many people in a human-dominated city would enjoy a book like that...though you might be able to find a specialized market.
You could also toss in a hint here: Effects of certain magics upon Elemental Beings, which might mention the alignment shifts elemental creatures undergo in the CRM.

simple, since they're not specified, they're all regular books
you've got it easy:
i'd make it 1d20 or 1d10 goldpieces per book, all random on general stuff regarding vairous topics.
depending on what setting you've got:
forgotten realms:
general book about the weave
general book about the shadow weave
book on the history of mistra
book on each of the magical schools, very general stuff (7 schools)
that's 11 books so far
make some more up...
