The fire alter's powers.
I have been thinking about using the fire alter's powers against the PCs. Actually it will be D'Gran that is going to do it. He stayed behind, along with Firre Ornath, after Tessimon and the others left to go to the old temple to witness Imix's arrival. D'Gran has Tessimon's key in his possession and he stole the lesser tentacle rod from her. The PCs defeated him in an earlier battle and he plots revenge against them now. I am going to have him in the Alter room waiting for them. Firre will probably be dead before this happens but it might not work out that way. What do y'all think of this? Is it too evil, or would it right up D'Gran's alley to do something like this.

Re: The fire alter's powers.
Sure. D'gran will use whatever is available to gain an advantage. Of course, does he know how to operate the altar and all its secrets? I suppose Tessimon might do that ... but then again maybe not. That's up for you decide, but she's going to be awfully upset when she realizes her prized rod is missing!

You'll have to decide just how much of the altar's powers D'gran has knowleged of and can use. You'll also have to decide if the altar's "wish" power has already been used during the last month, moon cycle, 30-days ... or whatever limit you decided to put on the altar's power.
