Just wanted to bring this back up...but I think this bears noting:

The Module, City of The Spider Queen has an EXCELLENT presentation...I know there are some who would say it is not that great of an adventure, but thats besides the point. Its layout and presentation was good. I think in part, it took into account the abilities a high-level party has at their disposal...things like resurrection, scrying, divinations, etc...very well done.

If RttToEE could be improved in one way, it would be examine the ability POTENTIAL of characters and design accordingly...For the moathouse, this is minimal, for the Node of FIre, this should be more important than the site descriptions...

Just have to add another voice to this point about CotSQ. I'm playing in that adventure right now and from the aesthetic playaids standpoint, it's blowing RttToEE away. The DM seems to have a full-color marker/picture (we use cardboard hero type stands) for many (most?) of the NPCs and BBEGs.

The maps he is provided with allow for blow-up to 1"=5 foot resolutions without any problems at all (so far). He prints out and cuts the maps piece-by-piece for great tactical feel without needing to waste time drawing everything out on the spot. I've tried this with RttToEE maps and it's dismal, partly due to the scale itself and partly due to the 3D shadowing used. That effect looks nice, but it's actually more of a pain when trying to use the maps tactically (counting room/hall sizes, etc.).
