Kaorti
Hey there. Kaorti, of the Fiend Folio, page 108. Now IMC, Big T is a being from the Far Realms, largely because it just so perfectly fits the bill. Has anyone tried replacing the drow in the Outer Fane, seemingly put there just for a underdark connection if the DM wants it, with Kaorti? These guys could be fixing to make portions of the ToAC into cysts, aiding the the cult with their attempts to release Big T, laying all to burnination.
In a similar vein, I noticed the skybleeder, a mount for the Kaorti, was one of the possible replacements for the vrock in the Inner Fane in the Monster Replacement thread. Anyone found a use for the rukanyr, another creation of the kaorti? It seems to me the fanes are lacking on pseudonatural things

Re: Kaorti
I used a kaorti wizard as a Planar Ally for Hedrack.
First he brought a pair of rukanyr to kill the PCs, and when they failed, he attacked himself on a skybleeder mount. Overall, it fit pretty well.
Watch out for the rukanyr sonic ability though. It virtually guarantees destruction of the weapon of anyone it targets.

Replace
Right now I'm discovering the wonders of rukanyr. The party's being chased down by the alternate ukemil and lions (pseudonatural gibbering mouth, pseudonatural hydra, and a rukanyr). The party was camped out in the woods outside the CRM, and had been attacked by the two dark nagas (Flying+Fireballs+detect thoughts= Carpet bombing runs), and teleported to and from Verbobonc to true res the cleric who who took 6 fireballs, not making his save for one of them.
Well, anyway, the spidereaters watched this and went back to get more help (Hedrack wants these folks dead), and Ukemilreplacement (From the Monster Replacement thread) finally was getting close to the PCs when the two who had left returned from Verbobonc. They start hearing trees falling down, and the party creeps up to look at what's coming, catches a glimpse of it, and hears my description of the sound "Metal scraping on metal inside a stomach whirling in a centrifuge." They run away, never even fully seeing the rukanyr. The group of baddies chase after them, of course. But they end up chowing down on one of the orc tribes, instead. Things that look scary, are scary.
