Gord the Rogue and Big T
This is another spin-off thread from the EEE and The Big T discussion.

Trithereon mentioned that he draws material from Gary Gygax's Gord the Rogue novels for his RttToEE campaign.

I've not read the GtR novels, however, I am interested in the general topic of using novels within the context of roleplaying games (see this thread, for example) and Gary's views on Tharizdun.

1) Has anyone else used these novels in their campaign? If so, how? Examples: DM background material, gave the books to a player to read for character background knowledge, etc..

2) Could anyone post a summary (or perhaps provide a link to one, if such a thing exists) of the RttToEE/Tharizdun content in these books?

3) What elements have you borrowed for your campaign? What elements have you rejected?

4) Which titles should I look for, if I wanted to use this content in my game?

Thanks!
