Interesting ToEE computer game note
rpgvault.ign.com/articles...066p2.html
Quote: Wherever possible, we have included NPCs and situations from Thomas Reid's "Temple of Elemental Evil" book and from Monte Cook's "Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil" module. In fact, some of the side quests allow for the game to enter a state as described in Cook's module. If a sequel to our game is ever made using that module, these quests will make it possible for the designers to make a faithful adaptation.
Any idea what "enter a state as described in Cook's module" means?
"They were immediately and absolutely recognizable as adventurers. They were hardy and dangerous, lawless, stripped of allegiance or morality, living off their wits, stealing and killing, hiring themselves out to whoever and whatever came... They were scum who died violent deaths, hanging on to a certain cachet among the impressionable through their undeniable bravery and their occasionally impressive exploits" China Mieville, Perdido Street Station |

Well, off the top of my head that would mean Hedrack escaping, Lareth getting killed in the moat house (duh - he almost has, to doesn't he?), Y'Dey being too late to raise Otis, Zert escaping... Stuff like that.
But I don't know. What I do know is that that will be the first PC game I'll buy in 3-4 years.

One other big one is Nulb, since there was hardly any info on Nulb in the original module. Tim Cain was talking about Nulb right before he mentioned this, which may have led to bringing up RttToEE.
