Game Enhancing Music
So what music have you used to enhance your game so far?

Personal Favorites of mine are the Halo and Morrowind Soundtracks

Definitely "We Are the Champions" when Laereth is recognized as Champion and othe Laereth times.

"Stairway to Heaven" whenver you want the PCs to get the heebiejeebies, such as when they enter the Outer Fane for the first time.

"Mission Impossible" when they try to do something crazy, such as kill Hedrack at level 10. :D

I've used all of these, and we've had Braveheart playing in the background before, too.

I've used the Star Trek fight music a number of times, as well as some tense-sounding stock music I have. I try to stay away from easily recognizable stuff. My players find music distracting in general, so I don't use too much.

Ah, I remember those evenings, lingering over brandy at "Eat" . . .

Definitely Conan (both movies), some Excalibur, and Gladiator.
There was a movie called Flesh & Blood in the 80's with music by Basil Poledouris, the guy who scored Conan -- that soundtrack works quite well, if you can find it.
Also, the Cutthroat Island soundtrack is really good for fight scenes.

Try the Donny Darko soundtrack. Very unnerving.

Re: Game Enhancing Music
I highly recomend the opening theme from the movie 'The Bounty'. It's by Vangelis (sp?) on an album called 'Themes'.

It's very haunting music.

The album also contains the music from 'Blade Runner' which may be usefull too (depending on your style).
