Oh, Zans...I don't know if you've just not had the time for it or what, but I've officially declared the Recovered Temple and Fire Node as "done"...they're ready to be added in.

Pending a review, it looks like the Inner Fane is done. Really, it didn't take all that much...Madfox did a lot of the work already.

Andorax: OK! With so much done now, I've gone back to the beginning and am doing things pretty linearly, so it might be a while until I get them in there.
Related to that though, are folks OK with my slowish pace of incorporating? As you've probably noticed I'm doing some re-checking as I enter things in. I could slurp more in at a faster pace and then go back and do the checking, if some are chomping at the bit for a paper version. Or, is the thread tracking page good enough to get quick access to stuff for everyone right now? Let me know.

I guess I'm just anxious to put a stamp on the 1.0 version of the document and call it "done", at least to some degree. I'd like to move it from a thread hunt to something a DM can actually print and use to run it...something we can start blabbing out to every gaming store we can find so they can let prospective buyers of RttToEE know about it.
I'll try and stay patient, and churn out more material if I get a chance. I tackled Part III and now the back half of the Inner Fane, but I can potentially do more if we still have holes. I'm concerned that we've lost enthusiasm and momentum.
Keep doing the fine job you're doing, ZansForCans...and we'll just keep on plugging on trying to produce the rest of the needed material for you.

I updated some progress and reassigned arcane12 to Ukemil and Varachan. Ukemil will be some major work, though.

I can start work on him tonight (about 4 hours time) and do some real work on him tommorow night so I think I can get him finished before the weekend. I will post him in the other thread I started (sorry about that just kinda followed the precedent  ) and rename the thread accordingly.
If I have any issues, or can't get him finished I should be able to let you know by tommorow - no more than 30 hours after this post. Good luck for the weekend!

update: done most of him. Will finish his area, plus the ones leading up to there tonight (I hope). Please take a gander as there is a question of his con. I will also check the faq again soon to see if someone had already made the desicion for me.
--new edit-- well thats that area mostly finished, if you want I'll do the next section of the OF - 43-50. I will also finish off what I have got there and go over it a few times checking for errors.

Okay, arcane12, you've been added. That has every section assigned except for the lightning towers and intro text. Thanks a lot to ZansForCans for his effort at the monumental editing task.
I will have Satau ready by this weekend. So, the new ETA is probably only 1-2 weeks.

Last Minute Bookkeeping
Updated...assigned myself to last section (small one). Please let me know if you consider your section complete (your name is not yet in fuchsia). It is complete after you have updated the page numbers of generic monsters, double-checked trap CRs (a comment that they are okay if they do not change is good), checked magic item descriptions, etc. I realize it is too late to say this now, but it is also important to take the time to check over your section(s) for errata. Anyway, but I won't be double checking everything, so if you tell me its done, I will mark it as so.
Every section is assigned. If you cannot finish yours or just plain want someone to take it over, no problem. Let me know, and we'll find someone.
Thanks to everyone for their hard work. I'm sure Monte appreciates all the effort, too. I bet he'd prefer an AU conversion, though.

I was hoping to be able to work on Hedrack et al this week, as I'd had some time off. I got too busy though, and didn't get a chance to do it. My next two weekends are booked solid, so I'm not sure I'm going to be able to get to it in a reasonable amount of time. You should probably remove me from that section and give it away to someone else. Sorry about that.
If it's still not done by the next time I get a free day, I'll grab it again.

Making it legal?
This is mostly for Zans, since he is the one hosting the conversion document.
Are you interested in making the conversion legal? I believe this can be done without much trouble. The current WOTC conversion agreement does not directly address 3.0 to 3.5 changes, but I still think the current conversion agreement could be used. At the least, the conversion would be viewed to be as legal as it could be.
What would need to be done?
1) Conform to the ESD Conversion Agreement.

1.a) The conversion would need to be labeled:
d20™ System Conversion of: Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil
1.b) Add notification of PI as indicated in the conversion agreement.
1.c) Update Section 15 of the OGL as indicated by the conversion agreement.
2) It would need to be Open Gaming License (OGL) compliant. www.wizards.com/d20/files/OGLv1.0a.rtf
To do this would require
2.a) Include OGL
2.b) Update Section 15, see above conversion agreement
3) Be d20 compliant
3.a) Include d20 logo 1"x1"
3.b) Include the following in font 10-12:
'd20 System' and the 'd20 System' logo are trademarks of Wizards of the Coast, Inc. and are used according to the terms of the d20 System License version 5.0. A copy of this License can be found at www.wizards.com/d20.
3.c) Include on cover or back cover in font 10-12 pt
Requires the use of a Roleplaying Game Core Book published by Wizards of the Coast, Inc.
or
Requires the use of the Dungeons & Dragons, Third Edition Core Books, published by Wizards of the Coast, Inc.
or if using 3.5
Requires the use of the Dungeons & Dragons Player's Handbook, published by Wizards of the Coast, Inc. This product utilizes updated material from the v.3.5 revision.
So, really not a whole bunch of work. If your interested, I have been following the legal OGL and d20 stuff for some time, but I am not a lawyer and I could help out.
