Tharizdun Stats?
Ok... I really have no idea whether or not this has already been posted or is in some source I haven't seen yet, but... does anyone have the stats for Tharizdun? I mean, in the campaign I'm running, I'm considering letting Tharizdun be freed, and the PCs can chase him till the Epic Levels and have a final showdown with him. So... if anyone can find them for me, or make them up, please post them! Thanks!

Re: Tharizdun Stats?
Stats were given in one of the issues of Dragon, but general consensus on these boards is that these were far too weak for the other deities to be as scared of him as they seem to be.

Jabberwocky has provided a truly scary version of Tharizdun in the Best of the Boards here, about 2/3rd down the page... it's at least CR 74, though, so I don't think even your average Epic level group is going to be able to take him...

Caedrel, who suspects that "average" probably isn't an appropriate adverb for any Epic level group...

Re: Tharizdun Stats?
Also remember that according to GH canon, it took all the gods to put him in prison. All of them. In which case Jabberwocky's version is probably spot on.

Thrommel (I think) suggested that Tharizdun isn't really about rendering the whole world into a void. His void aspect centers on his ability to siphon off divine power from the other gods and funnel that power to his worshippers.

That version of Tharizdun has not been written up, but would, I guess, basically move to some Lower Plane and begin work on the blueprints for turning the whole world into a purple-tinged, tentacle-ridden wasteland.

...it is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.

Cliche...
Of Course, on could take a Kraken and beef it up to a godly CR...but that might be too cliche.

I would use an improved Nightshade myself.
