Blade Spirit
The Blade Spirit is immune to slashing weapons, no matter how magical. Does this include a Ghost Touch sword?

Re: Blade Spirit
That's how I understood it. Immune to all slashing weapons, including Ghost Touch.

Re: Blade Spirit
Yup, all slashing weapons.

What I did is I had everyone roll a d10 after every attack (like a miss chance) they never did figure out what weapons worked and what didn't.

But... I did find that the Blade Spirit was a disapointment. I thought this was going to be a really cool fight. But the PCs had a very dificult time hurting it and it had a very dificult time hurting the PCs and the PCs sundered the weapons it used too easily. So, the fight lasted a really long time because neither group could really hurt the other. Not sure how to fix it, maybe give the Blade Spirtit less HP and a few adamantium weapons.

Re: Blade Spirit
My battle with it went really well, all things considered. The party was searching the room outside the forge when it came bursting in right next to the mage an wizard. Each took a hit or two and ran like girls, while the fighter/cleric tank ran up. His +2 bastard sword was completely useless, but he got hit by four of the six weapons, one of which was a critical, for something like 48 points of damage. It REALLY took the air out of his sails . . . :evil

I actually like the Blade Spirit, since it's a unknown to my experience and well read group of players. I was able to throw something at them they knew nothing about. They're pretty good about seperating player/character knowledge, but it's nice when they encounter something truly unknown.
