Re: Area 87 - Tulian's Eye|
The main hall Was a lot more dressed up than I would expect this hall to be. The main hall lead to the air temple and was therefore designed to look nasty. It would still have torches, even if only the first twenty feet or so, for the human warriors to get about. Perhaps even the entire length, for pit fight spectators, clerics going to the water door, etc. The 70'x10' room can be described as a hallway with a door leading to a empty chamber (probably a bedroom of some sort - perhaps for a cook, ar a dawrven captain of this section long ago.) 84 used to be (and still sorta is) a prison, 88 - 92 general storage, and furth south an armory and smithy.
This area of the CRM looks like it used to be basic living area, but also a fully supported village like area for the dwarves. while the main gate was the place where most of the mining was done, this area was a living area - with the destrachan to the south, I would say the dwarves didn't do much mining here. I guess if you want to descibe it as anything just try to think what the dwarves used it for. One of my groups looked in the room saw it was empty and carried on! Not even getting close enough for me to worry about rolling that elf search chance for the secret door
