We Finished It!
(a month or so ago)
Well, after a restart and a port to the FR and making sure my players never knew I was DMing a module (they have a thing about modules), and heavily emphasizing roleplaying, and lots of trips to the board here for ideas on things to do and especially to NOT do to my party, they made it through.
After nearly deciding to go after the doomdreamers and the temple without resting (and me looking gleefully at Ghostwalk) they decided to do it in separate attacks.
I won't post a death toll, but there was one, or even try to tell about the glorious battles (I've seen some great ones described already).
Thank you to everyone on the board here. You've been a great help and inspiration. Thanks especially to Monte for bringing a classic adventure I remember from long ago back to glorious life.

I plan on really getting my millage out of the module, and after a break from running it from two groups (when they finish, early next year some time) I plan on sending a third group through! That's how great I am finding it. hehe
I may have to break for a couple of month though so I am not totally burned out! Hopefully it will be an epic tale the third time around with not a single "oops, err by the way everyone make a fortitude save... it smells really bad (darn troglodytes)"

This is definitely one of those adventures that would likely get better and better the more times you do it. There's just so much intertwining that can be done along with the rich history of the story. Fun!

Do you plan to get them T-shirts ("I survived RtToEE")?

Honestly, please post your body-count throughout the whole campaign - I would like to have some statistics for later use against my players ("See? You are still lucky so far ... in THIS campaign, there were 3 TPKs!").

Heh. No T-shirts. However, when we survive particularly epic campaigns, we do hand out certificates of achievement...the first having gone "I survived the Savador".
