What Will Tarren Do?
Okay, so the druid in my party makes 'friends' with Tarren and the party gets past his cave (away from the FT). They fight the destrachan, but the 3 elven warrior FT mooks are knocked unconscious (32 nonlethal, failed save, will do that). The group doesn't want them anymore and stopped Virith from executing them outright. So, instead, they give the unconscious bodies to Tarren, who accepted them gladly. Yeah, this surprised me, too. So, what in the world will Tarren do with three unconcious elves (2 males, 1 female) are are aligned with a hated enemy?

Vile ideas are acceptable. LostSoul, you still there? ;)

Well that depends
I recommend a light mushroom salad, if Tarren has a vinegrette available. Elf meat strikes me as being rather stringy, so he'll probably want to marinade.

Seriously, I suppose Tarren could use Charm Person or Mammal to bring the elves over to his side, or make some sort of Tanbrosh-esqe drug to keep them loyal. But I think he's more likely to view them as dinner.

Hey, the fun fungi drinks are cool and all, but you know, the only thing keeping Tarren back from making some really nasty poison is a lack of test subjects...

(Personally, I could see Tarren being really addled from drinking too many of his own brews.)

I could also see those three getting turned into some abominable variety of Yellow Musk Creeper zombies.

The party finds them affixed to large mushroom stems, bodies so overgrown with fungi that it's unclear where their flesh stops and the fungus starts. Particularly colorful growths of fungi extrude from their eye sockets, mouths, and groins.

Slight thrashing movements and moaning sounds emenate from the elves seemingly in reaction to the party's voices, revealing them to still be alive.

A Detect Thoughts dweomer gives the result:
(Extreme pain and suffering.) "Kill me! Please, kill me!"

I'm thinking a combination of all the ideas will work. Plus, the male and female can be arranged...artfully...in order to decorate his rather drab room. They'll also provide useful and current information on the FT. Perhaps I'll have Tarren make a quick foray. Thanks for the responses!

hmmm
Why don't you make them needlefolks or feed them to needlefolks? That will be interesting or have them become mort (from MM II)

A little Vile
Here's what I was thinking of:

Tarren takes the elves and binds them in barbed vines (they take 1 point of damage per Escape Artist attempt). Then he goes to work on one of the men - removing glands, sex organs, and parts of the brain (maybe instead of a scalpel, he uses some kind of "bioactive acid" that burns its way into the flesh and 'pops' out the organ). He does this very slowly, making sure that the elf doesn't die, but instead lives through the pain. (All this will take a DC 25 Heal check. Tarren can, I think, Take 10.)

Once he has his ingredients, he mixes them up in a process that takes eight hours/one day, and requires him to use the spell Contagion, some XP, and his Brew Potion feat. Now he's got a bubbling, teeming bio-active mass of slime that seems to have a will of its own. He feeds this to the female, infecting her with a new disease we'll call Vile Musk.

Vile Musk: Infection: Sexual Contact. DC 14 + creator's Wis mod (just like the DC for Contagion). Incubation is 1d3 days, damage 1d2 Con.
Vile Musk also has a strange effect: when a female is infected with this disease, she produces a "cloud" of pheremones around her in a 10' radius. These pheremones cause any male in range to make a Will save (same DC as the disease); failure means they are overcome with lust and attempt to have sex with the female. Males of different races but the same type (ie. a Human male and an infected Gnomish female) gain a +2 bonus to the Will save, and males of different types but still genetically compatible (ie. an Ogre Mage and an Elf) gain a +4 bonus.
Due to alterations in the female's anatomy by the fungal infection, any sex they undergo is painful to both them and their partner. Each suffer 1d4 points of damage.
