Bebelith - stopping it
The module recommends having the doomdreamers to send invisible stalkers to deal with the rogue demon, but I don't see them as being more than speed bumps for it. (esp. in 3.0)
With some major buffing they could eventually wear it down, but is that the proper option? comments?

My thoughts:
3.0: No help- there is almost no way an invisible stalker can kill it. DR 30/+3, Circle of protection evil.

3.5: It is significently easier - the stalker would have a fight on it's...vaporous hand-like objects...but it is possible.
std: 1 damage (average) per hit, 1 hit (average) per round=150 rounds to kill. whoop.
Buffed(bulls str): whoop. 3 damage per round. 50 rounds to kill, assuming whoever cast the spell is high enough level for it to last long enough. It _should_ and if two bulls str stalkers go out, with flanking they should average a total of about 8 damage per round, equalling no more than 20 rounds to kill.
Good weapon: Assuming the stalker can find a Neutral or Good cleric to cast it for it, oh and assuming the stalker CAN use a weapon - it is an amorpheous cloud-like creature.

I can't really think off the top of my head what would put a stop to this, short of chymon, or one of the other very important denizens of the fanes.

I agree with you that the invisible stalkers could not take out the bebelith. Personally, I think Hedrack (or Varachan) would send out Naquent with the stalkers, and possibly one of the assassins as backup. Naquent can then cast dismissal to get rid of it. If the first try fails, the stalkers are there to provide a buffer. It should be fairly easy, with a small chance of some damage, but not too bad.

On that note, in fact, I'd think Naquent is always accompanied by an assassin when leaving the Outer Fane.
