Where? (running RttToEE in FR(I have read faq))
Well, as the title sugests i'm going to run RttToEE in the forgotten realms. The faq sugests the region north east of waterdeep using Yartar as Homlett. It also sugests using The Desarin hills and Beliard for other things. Call me stupid but I just can't find those last 2 anywhere in the FR campaign setting. Any idea where they are people? Thanks.

I'm not sure about those other places, but I'm using Daggerford (south of Waterdeep along the Trade Way) as Hommlet, and it's working out perfectly. Waterdeep is Verbobonc, the Moathouse is in the Lizard Marshes to the southwest, Nulb and Temple are in the Misty Forest to the southeast, and Rastor and the ToAC are in the Graypeak Mountains, farther east.

I'm running the campaign in the Dessarin Hills
The whole hilly area south of Yartar and the Dessarin River is the Dessarin Hills, and Beliard is on the south east edge of them. You can find them both named on the realms map supplied with the FRCS hardback, but they don't have any write up in the book, which is why they're perfect, no conflicts with any existing material. It also ties up the whole campaign in a reasonably tight geographic area, and as errant42 said, Waterdeep serves as an ideal stand-in for Verbobonc. My campaign log is called Daryl's campaign (imaginative, don't ya think)

Running a Realms Campaign
I've been running my RttToEE campaign in the Realms, though with slightly altered distances and directions between the various places.
I've got Homlett and Rastor set in Deepingdale, the CRM set high up in the Thunder Peaks, the Temple of Elemental Evil itself i've put deep into Cormanrathor (sic) and I'm using Arabel as a replacement for Verbobonoc. The main differences so far have been to introduce outside influences from the local power groups (the Zhentarim supply the drug in Rastor for example).
