Tac Escapes
Hi,

Ok, Tac is the lone survivor of the Eastern Bridge complex. He fled into the crypt area. The Fire Temple are the only ones left in the CRM.

I expect my group to loot the Eastern Bridge complex and then return to the Dwarven Temple for at least a day of recovery.

What do you think Tac will do? Will he hide out? Will he try to join the Fire Temple? How would the Fire Temple receive him?

Fire Temple will accept him. He have high tolerance for pain. Why not hurt him some more to see how he do? Since he enjoys it very much, they welcome him in. End of the story. A heir apparent to Fierre!

Re: hmmm
It is an option. I would try to think of it from Tac point of view. Ok, so you are Lawful Evil. You keep you word, as long as you stay alive. You broke your vow to save your skin. That's OK, but you hate these adventurers for them forcing you to do that. Ok, so lets stalk them find one when he's alone and take him down to restore our honor. Not the toughest one, but one that will be a fair (for Tac :evil ) challenge. Have a backup plan for escape. If Tac wins he can bring the head (or token) of the adventurer as vindication and then rejoin the EEE. Otherwise leave the area as the EEE clerics don't exactly suffer losers.

One variation is to attack a cohort, follower, or other hanger-on of the party (while Tac enjoys a challenge he's not going to overly risk his life) to attack. This will make the PC's realise that they need to protect their followers, and that evil does not have to hurt you directly to hurt you. :evil

Re: hmmm
I that stalking the PCs would be what a rouge would do, not a monk like Tac. He would want his revenge, but he would need a power base to get it.

So he joins the FT, tells them about the force that took out Eastern bridge complex and then takes a force out to find them (he convinces Zert that they need to destroy them).

Make the confortation a random encounter.

Hmm
Tac can always leave the CRM and rejoin Rastor and set up his training school to build a legion of monks to fight against PC. Haha

Tac can join Tarren and even had plant template (from Planet of the Manual). After all, Tarren is a rogue. So is Tac.. since his temple is gone.

However, Tac may succeed enough to get Hedrack attention and take him as his assassination assistant.

Re: Hmm
Being lawful in such a chaotic place, I'd think Tac would think twice about just leaving. There must be better things to do somewhere else.

Re: hmm
How about this.

After the party retreats to the Dwarven Temple he returns to survey the damage, see if anyone has survived, search for any items the party missed, and think about what to do next.

At this time Ukemil and his Lions cross the bridge looking for the PCs. Ukemil finds out that the PCs took out the bridge and the demon in one swoop. Ukemil decides to enlist Tac's help in his mission to teach the do gooders a lesson.
