Second Prophecy Subplot
IMC one of my players has a cleric of Istishia (sp?), FR goddess of water. To incorporate this into the campaign, I’ve included a second prophecy from Satuu about the Champion of Elemental Evil.
Four allies to the Eye there be,
Princes of the Elements,
Each shackled under a God.
Each of those Gods shall find a champion,
When each of these has tasted death’s kiss,
Our Champion shall be revealed.
Thus, each of the four FR elemental gods (Istishia, Grumbarr, Kossuth and the air god whose name escapes me since our FRCS is with our groups other DM) has sent a cleric to deal with the threat of the Doomdreamers. The Doomdreamers know they are coming and want to see them dead. What they don’t know is that Torg has already died before he even joined the Chaos Draonslayers (PC’s) and now IMC only the priest of Kossuth must die before Lareth can be discovered. When the PC’s sack the Fire temple they will discover his remains. They have already heard of the murders of the earth and air priests.
I’ll be placing a copy of this prophecy, perhaps more well written, in Satuu’s chambers.

Re: Second Prophecy Subplot
Akadi is the FR air goddess.
I like the idea, as it adds to the desperate "it's almost time" feeling. It looks at this point like there isn't much the PCs can do to act on the information, but it's good for mood.

Quote: I’ll be placing a copy of this prophecy, perhaps more well written, in Satuu’s chambers.
Allow me to offer you the following:
Four allies has it
Four princes calls it
Elements serve it
The dread master's Eye!
Four gods of Faerun:
Each sets a champion
Holding the prison
Door to the princes
Fall shall each mortal!
Gape, the dark portal!
He who has wrought all
Raises our Champion
Allies shall help him
Princes shall aid him
Elements serve him
Free shall be master!
This would work really well as a chant if the players crash the Champion's selection or Imix. (Get players to recite it, each starting one line after the next, to get the full effect! Gotta love those Saxon rhythms...)
NB Lareth's dead in your campaign, isn't he? Thus line 4 of 3rd stanza.

OOOOH!
I think that will work well...I'm thinking about having the fire temple proper be occupied when the PC's show up. They'll be finishing off killing the cleric of Kossuth and so the PC's will hear the chant as they approach.
