To Save a Vampire
Yup, a post on saving our favorite Prince of Furyondy. My campaign has become very Furyondy-centric and they have been charged specifically to find out what happened to Thrommel.

So, they don't know what is up yet, but when they do... any ideas on how to save a vampire? Can you kill it and True Resurrect? Wish? Consecrate? What do people think?

Re: To Save a Vampire
You can definitely kill it and true resurrect him. As for anything else, it's more of a campaign-specific theme. Since you set them out to save him, I'd suggest you check out the excellent ideas in the BoB on Redeeming Prince Thrommel. If you can commit some of those speeches to memory, it would be frickin' awesome.

That is, make the redemption possible, but have it be entirely RP. If they actually kill Thrommel without getting him to apologize, then he's not redeemed and they fail. Part of the scenario could be that after hours of good RP, they convince Thrommel he's been bad and he apologizes and sincerely wants to atone, and asks them to just end his existence. They do so and he is reborn via divine providence in a shower of light and goodness. :)
