Re: Neighbours...
Quote: And Siobharek, I know what you mean, but from the opposite perspective. Boise is the only "interesting" place within several hours drive in any direction. I can't imagine what it would be like to have another country that speaks another language 200 miles way...in some cases, in EVERY direction.
Actually, going into the proper direction you will miss a complete country (or two) if you travel 200 miles from the Netherlands

Re: Neighbours...
The international flavor here is astounding. Maybe that's just because international folks think (rightly so) that it's more interesting to be from outside the US on an American web board.
I'm from around Chicago. I live in Elmhurst, work in Arlington Heights. I was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio.

What is interesting his how far north a lot of us seem to be. Guess when its cold outside its perfect for D&D! Me and most of my players grew up near Cleveland.

Re: Hey Lenny
Nope. Not that far north. Twin Cities area (by way of Wisconsin). Head up to the Boundary Waters on a regular basis though so I do get up to that area often.

Or just the fact that many of us Europeans who answered, did so while those of you a bit to the west of the 0-longitude were still fast asleep. Heh, I'm usually able to get first post on UserFriendly's talkback column that way
Siobharek Denmark ...it is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.

Freezing greetings from Finland Add one more European to the list. It seems that Siobharek would be so far the closest 'neighbour' in this list so far...
Big congratulations to all Canadians and both of their hockey teams too! They also managed to drop both of our teams
Well it seems to be time to harness my reindeer and go hunt some polar bears for snack... just to keep up some believes.

Mesa, Arizona USA.
While the majority here live in the cold, I lounge in the high heat of the Mojave Desert (Average Temperature for this Week: 75 degrees F). If it were not for my family in Buffalo and Salt Lake City, I would have never seen snow.
[I hate Canadians (one parent from Buffalo, NY) and the French (one parent German/Brit/Swede).
